Silken Axis Vigo

The room I stayed in was spacious, well-decorated, and very comfortable, providing a peaceful and restful night's sleep. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room and common areas of the hotel was impeccable, contributing to an even more enjoyable stay. The breakfast offered by the hotel was simply delicious, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. I also took the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurant and was impressed by the quality and flavor of the dishes served. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to various tourist attractions in the city, as well as restaurants, shops, and public transportation. This made my explorations in Vigo even more convenient and enjoyable.

This hotel certainly met my expectations in so many ways. The staff were all attentive and polite; they all spoke English. Furthermore, I greatly appreciated the location of the hotel, and I believe it's perfect for those coming into town and/or departing by bus: just 8 minutes on foot! Importantly for keen swimmers: there was also a swimming pool! Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to use it.

Hotel: We were received by a very friendly receptionist with a lovely smile. We felt right at home. And each time we came back to the hotel or out of the elevator there was eye contact and a smile, thats something that couldn't be said of her colleagues. I would hire her anytime! The hotel is easily accessible, has parking facilities and is a 10-minute walk from the center. Room: fairly spacious, modern, comfortable, in good condition and clean. Bathroom ditto. Safe (17inc laptop size) is available and free to use. Wifi (free) present. Roof terrace; small pool and sitting area not too big. Too small if you really want to swim, but to recover from the heat and have a drink, sufficient. A friendly and hardworking service is provided. Parking: Hotelparking available. Overall: Good location, modern and clean.

The Axis is ideally located in Vigo city centre and offers great value for money. The cafe breakfast in the hotel lobby was very good and all the staff (especially Marcos in the cafe) were more than helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Axis when visiting Vigo.

The hotel is perfectly located, very near shops, bars etc. The cafe and reception staff were very accommodating and eager to help in any way. The room, for a city centre hotel, was very quiet and had excellent soundproofing.
